A commenter on an earlier post gives me a poke saying I "loathe traddies"
No I don't. I loathe self righteousness, and self righteous trendies are just as odious as self righteous traddies. The people I suspect are the ones (on both sides) who can't laugh at themselves.
This is why y'all ought to read The Gargoyle Code. I take pot shots at both sides. Try it. I think you'd like it.

sorry.....woke up a bit miffed with different branches of 'catholicism', and don't say they don't exist, because they do. How about i just come out with it, and say, everybody, traddy, baddy or trendy, would you just pray that my son's begin to love the Lord and get back to Mass? Cos that's my real dilemma, woteva else I comment on(transient rubbish), that's me, worrying. OK, y'all found me out!
OH! And I'll pray for your kids too, deal?

When you see all the particles of a consecrated Host, which is Jesus, being carelessly neglected and abused by the practice taught to most Catholics today,[receiving in the hand] let us stop being so trendy and get back to reverent Traditional Catholicism.It is not just about going to Mass.Saint Teresa of Avila wrote that it seemed to her that more people go to Mass with the purpose of offending our Lord more than to worship Him because of all the sacrileges committed against the Blessed Sacrament.The NO New Mass allows for even more of these abuses. Ofcourse,we all need to be humble. And united! So much of the NO Mass takes away from the Real Presence, hurting Him and still Jesus endures this abuse today because of His love and mercy for us. Now we need to really show our love to Him by how we worship Him in His Church.
Hate the sin not the sinner! I am sure he/she meant that they hate tradition and not that they hate traditionalists (which would be a great sin). In which case, they cannot surely be a Catholic.
and surely, the more one is adhering to these rules the more loving it should make one towards one's brother? That being the fruit, yes?
But it doesn't seem to be that way to me, it seems to separate and isolate.... sorry brig on the Prods, Aaron's beard flows better from where I'm standing......
