Father, is that really Tony Blair, or are you "having us on," as the Brits say? :)

Even if it isn't the former PM, it's a very nice performance. In 1989, I was fortunate enough to appear in a performance of Messiah featuring members of the Choir of All Saints Episcopal Church in Pawleys Island, SC and members of the Charleston Symphony. I had a wonderful time. Back then I sang in the tenor section of the chorus. Today I'd probably have to sing in the bass section. Can't hit the high ones like I used to :)

In any case, I have to say it's a nice performance. Thanks.

Appropriate indeed for the second Sunday in Advent.

The Messiah is perfect music (and as a music snob, I would say it's pretty simple)- I think the best way to do the Messiah is with the entire audience as the chorus!

Of course he is having fun. Anyone can tell that is Patrick McGoohan.
