Just when you thought the Anglicans couldn't top their outrageous behavior they find a new way to shock you. On New Year's Day Katherine Ragsdale--Dean and President of the Episcopal Church's leading seminary--Episcopal Divinity School-- has "married" another high ranking Episcopal priestess called Mally Lloyd. It turns out that Mally Lloyd had been married for 24 years and has three adult children who took part in the service.
Furthermore, the ceremony was in the cathedral of the Diocese of Massachusetts, in front of 400 guests, and the bishop took the service. They're not even pretending to call it a 'blessing of a same sex union' but are naming it a marriage. Read all about it here.

also across the blogosphere- one of these two 'priests' calls abortion and abortion workers "blessings"- I would search for the homily reference, but it makes me sick to my stomach.

Mercifully, the Almighty seems to have rendered this sect sterile. Its in freefall and will likely be just a blighted memory in a generation.
Whenever I read of her outrages, I can only think of the Church at Thyatira.
No, when these people die there will be another generation of gay ex-catholics, baptists and Pentecostals, upscale former fundies and divorced/assimilated ethnic Catholics and the Episcopal church will go on.
They asked about the Orthodox church under Communism "Where will your church be after all these old ladies have died? There will be another generation of old ladies".

Unbelievable. Isn't Ragsdale the "abortion is a blessing" woman?
I walk by this cathedral almost every day. Not only do they hold gay weddings there, they also have "hip hop worship" on Wednesdays and Muslim prayers on Fridays.
