here about Romanesque churches of Germany. Christian is the architect behind the very interesting First Baptist Church in Taylors, SC. This is a guy who convinced Baptists to do something other than the usual neo-classical front porch with pillars and a spire. Go

Thanks for the link to the article about the German romanesque churches. I have worshiped in Maria Laach Abbey, Speyer and Limburg cathedrals. My first German Christmas was spent at the abbey in 1966. It is loaded with history. Cologne also has several of the country's finest romanesque churches. I am amazed that the architect was able to persuade the Baptist congregation to have four spires.
