Don't know the artist, but St Andrew looks a little English to me in this painting. I went to Mass yesterday at St Andrew the Apostle Parish & received Communion. I think that's a plenary indulgence, right?
That's not an Andrew I'm familiar with. He has a book, but he's not an evangelist; and he holds what, a fish? which must refer to this:"Andrew, Simon Peter's brother, said to him, 9* "There is a lad here who has five barley loaves and two fish; but what are they among so many?"But if so then why isn't there a loaf of bread as well?
