Why not blog(vlog) from your study Father (like Ed Young haha!), or stick a camera on your motorbike and preach as you ride? It's nice to see the person behind the written words.
it seems as if the years you spent in merry old England have taken the edge off your american accent, if you'd stayed here then I'd be at your parish every Sunday even If I had to travel across half the diocese.
Having said that the good Lord had good reasons for sending you back to America, it meant you could bring the benefits of civilisation to your fellow Americans :)
PS: I love the Americans I've met and if I got the opportunity to be a Priest in Wisconsin I'd jump at the chance.
Liturgical dance ain't your forte. (Please) don't give up your day job.
ReplyDeletePeace.

You could release this as a workout video.....
ReplyDeleteWell done. That'd put me in traction!
ReplyDeleteBravo, Father! But what will you do NEXT year? :) --- Rosemary

"Liturgical dancing"...nuh-uh, that's Morris dancing.
ReplyDeleteOh how I loved this! Made me laugh and warmed my heart that a priest "gets down" with his parishioners!
ReplyDeleteI love it that this should follow the Old Monk saying, "In silence - a symphony." And they say Americans don't do irony!
ReplyDeleteActually, the Old Monk quote came after the performance. meaning the performance was so bad it prompted the old monk into silence.
